There are some people who think that writing articles for sites like this one is a waste of time. Obviously that’s not my point of view, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this article here. But is the fact that I still write articles mainly to do with the fact that I’m a creature of habit?

Starting a new website is exciting. That feeling always accompanies realizing a goal that you had for long envisioned. A new website is filled with a lot of potential, and can grow to become an authority to reckon with in a certain industry. This potential is however bound, and can only be released with effective website marketing strategies.

No apologies for the bluntness of the title of this article. A lot of internet marketers I speak to don’t appear to have any focus and have left a trail of untidy, unfinished, projects behind them that would make a teenager’s bedroom look organised. Ebooks they’ve bought but never downloaded.

There always seems to be a battle going on in the internet marketing world where people claim that their method of getting traffic is better than yours. Which is why there are claims from the article marketing camp that articles are far and away the best way to get targeted traffic. And counter claims from the video marketing camp that that’s completely wrong and videos are the way of the future.
